Terms of Service
Last updated August 2, 2026
1. Who we are
Bifixit is operated by Bifixit and Technology Solutions Limited (“Bifixit,” “we,” “us”). These terms apply to anyone who creates a shop on Bifixit (a “vendor”) and anyone who buys through a Bifixit-hosted shop (a “buyer”). Creating an account or completing a purchase means you accept these terms.
2. What Bifixit is and isn't
Bifixit gives vendors a storefront, a checkout, and payout infrastructure. Vendors are independent sellers, not Bifixit employees or agents. Bifixit is not the manufacturer, seller of record, or guarantor of any product or service listed on a vendor's shop. The vendor is solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings, fulfilling orders, and the quality of what they sell.
3. Fees and subscription
- Bifixit takes 3% of the total of every paid order, deducted automatically.
- Vendors also pay a monthly subscription: ₦25,000/month for Naira-currency shops, $15/month for everyone else. The first 30 days are free. A payment method is captured at signup; for Naira vendors this includes a one-time ₦100 card-verification charge, which is not refundable.
- If a subscription renewal fails and isn't resolved, the shop is taken offline until payment is sorted out. A vendor can cancel their subscription at any time from their dashboard.
- Payment processors (see Section 5) charge their own transaction fees separately from Bifixit's cut.
4. Orders, refunds, and disputes
Purchases are between the buyer and the vendor. Bifixit facilitates the payment and, where applicable, temporarily holds funds before disbursing them to the vendor, but Bifixit does not decide refund outcomes for the goods or services themselves. That's between the buyer and vendor, guided by whatever policy the vendor has stated. If a buyer disputes a card charge with their bank, the vendor is notified immediately and is responsible for responding to it.
5. Payments and payouts
Depending on the vendor's country, payments are processed through Monnify (Nigeria), Flutterwave (Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa, Uganda, and other supported countries), or Stripe (for certain international card transactions). These are licensed, independent payment processors. Bifixit never stores full card numbers. Vendors are paid out to their own verified bank account or mobile money account on request.
6. AI-generated content
Bifixit can generate product descriptions, marketing copy, images, and short video ads using AI, based on information and photos a vendor provides. A vendor is responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before it goes out and for making sure it's accurate. Enabling “Autopilot” means this content is generated and posted automatically without a manual review step each time.
7. Acceptable use
Don't use Bifixit to sell anything illegal, to defraud buyers, or to launder payments. We can suspend or close a shop that violates this, misuses the platform, or triggers repeated payment disputes.
8. Changes
We may update these terms as the product changes. Continuing to use Bifixit after an update means you accept the revised terms.
