Do I need a website already?
No. Bifixit gives you the shop link, ready to share.
I've never sold online before. Is this too complicated for me?
If you can send a WhatsApp message, you can do this. Tell us what you sell, edit the prices we suggest, and you're live.
What if I don't know how to price what I sell?
We write starting prices for you, whether it's a product or a service. You can edit any of them in one tap before you go live.
How fast do I get paid?
2 to 7 business days after each sale, depending on your country, settled automatically to your verified bank account via Stripe. Your very first payout can take a little longer (up to 14 days) while Stripe verifies your account. After that it's fast and automatic.
What if a buyer disputes a payment?
We notify you immediately by email so you can respond. This never happens silently.
Can I use my personal bank account?
Yes, once Stripe verifies it's really yours.
Is my money safe?
Payments run through Stripe and settle into your own verified bank account.
Can buyers scam me?
Buyers pay into the checkout before you ship. No more shipping on the promise of "sent" payment.
What does Bifixit cost?
No subscription for your first month. 3% per paid order applies from your first sale; after month one, it's $15/month on top.
Are there hidden fees?
No setup fee, no listing fee. Just the monthly subscription (free for month one) and the per-order fee when money actually moves.
Do I need a custom domain to start selling?
No. Every shop gets a free bifixit.com link from day one. A custom domain is optional, whenever you're ready.
What happens to my bifixit.com link if I add a domain?
It keeps working and automatically redirects to your custom domain, so old links you've already shared never break.
How long does connecting a domain take?
Usually a few minutes once your DNS record is added. We handle verification and SSL automatically, no technical setup on your side.
Does Bifixit handle shipping?
Not yet. Shipping is arranged directly by you, the seller, outside of Bifixit. Use whatever courier or delivery service you already work with. In-app shipping labels are on our roadmap.
What about taxes and duties?
You're responsible for understanding and applying any taxes or duties that apply to your sales. These vary by country and by what you sell. Bifixit doesn't calculate or collect tax on your behalf today, so check your local requirements, especially if you're selling internationally.
